UCC Initiates Knowledge Commons And Scholarly Correspondence At Sam Jonah Library


The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has initiated what it calls Knowledge Commons and Scholarly Unit at the University’s library.

The point of the task is to modernize the Sam Jonah Library, the University’s principle library, into a top notch library that would encourage scholastic greatness.

Talking at the service, Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sam Esson Jonah approached research Institutions and enterprises in Ghana to create inventive methods of changing information and investigation into tackling cultural difficulties.

He encouraged the administration of the Sam Jonah Library to, notwithstanding the modernization of the actual library, build up their electronic library framework to help the e-learning, exploration and e-distributing activities of the college.

“I’m enchanted that the SAM Jonah Library can flaunt three house which are the individuals lodge, Research center and the information hall as everywhere on the world customary libraries are being changed into learning hall,” he said.
