“2020 VGMA will be held in August” – Charterhouse CEO

Theresa Ayoade, the CEO of Charterhouse has revealed that the 21st edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) will take place in August 2020.

The Awards night was slated to come off in April but had to be postponed following the directive of the president, by banning social gatherings and locking down the country. This is a result of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which struck the country in March 2020.

All activities came to a halt after the president announced the ban and restrictions, this affected so many businesses including major events scheduled for the year like the VGMA.
