Ho Municipal Hospital Children’s Ward receives incentives to cushion health workers

The Volta New Patriotic Party Resources Group in Accra has donated items to the Children’s ward of the Ho Municipal Hospital.

The donation came after a series of calls were made to the group to provide help to the children’s ward.

The items were donated on behalf of the First Lady of the Republic, Mrs. Rebecca Akuffo Addo by a Member of the Council of elders of the Party, Mrs. Agnes Okudzeto, who is also the Chairman of the resource group.

Presenting the items on behalf of the First Lady, Mrs. Akuffo Addo, Mrs. Agnes  Okudzeto said the mission was to interact with authorities and to know the most pressing needs of the children’s ward of the hospital.

She said the items donated was to cater to the dire needs of children and needy mothers. She said behind every man there is a woman, and behind of every President and the First lady interested in the wellbeing of children and women.

She noted that the group would partner with the municipal hospital, visit often, listen to the problem of the people to see women and children empowered.

She called on citizens to support the President’s vision to benefit from the free Senior High school education.

“Turn your heart to NPP  and the President and follow the good works he has done”, she said.

Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Reverend thanked the first lady and the group for their support and immense contribution to enhancing healthcare delivery in the country.

He said the group was taking the Region seriously by prioritizing the health needs of the people. He asked mothers to rally their support behind the party since the President supports quality health delivery.

“Support the government of the day, to be able to get good access to health and free education”, he said.

The Deputy Director of Nursing, Madam Innocentia Antonio also expressed gratitude to Mrs. Rebecca Akuffo Addo and the team for donating such valuable items to the children’s ward.

She said that the kind gesture would put smiles on the faces of mothers and their children. The items donated were detergents, toiletries, provisions and a double-decker fridge.
