The Accra International Conference Centre which was commissioned in 1991 is currently peeling off with cracks spotted in some parts of the building.
According to reports, most of the column structure of the building is peeling off and this started around 2014.
Mark Addo, an engineer from the Ghana Institute Of Engineering noted that maintenance review hasn’t been accurate over the years because the peeling off started in 2014 and has still not been fixed.
Meanwhile, the chairman of foreign affairs committee, Frank Amor said they are calling on government to help fix the problem as soon as possible because cracks the pillars are deep and the pillars are however getting weak.
