“Blame ministries for every soul we lose on the Tema motorway” – Kwesi Ernest

Kwesi Ernest, a panelist, has said the Ministry of Roads and Highways should be blamed if lives are lost on the newly commissioned Tema Motorway.

He said “every soul that is lost on the motorway, the blame should be put on the ministry”.

This became necessary after the country experienced a heavy downpour late hours in the night, which took away lives, as well the newly constructed Tema Motorway.

He argued that the Tema motorway should have been a four lane road, but maintaining it would be a problem hence, the construction of two lanes.

He added that, “after years of Kwame Nkrumah leaving us this property (the Tema motorway), the ministry should make sure the roads are being taken care of”.

He stressed that work must be excessive enough ans be extended to other parts of the country and not only where Politicians reside.

He however tasked the Ministry to be up to its task to ensure that roads in country are always in good shape instead of blaming drivers for reckless driving.
