The new executive board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Wednesday 10th June 2020 dissolved the club’s management team led by George Ernest Amoako, and the club’s now former General Manager Nana Gyambibi Coker has spoken saying he was not surprised by the executive board’s decision.

“I don’t know about the rest, but I knew it was going to happen because once there has been a new changing of the board and this is my opinion I think will be appropriate that the management is taken out so that so that they begin on a fresh note.”

Young football administrator, Nana Gyambibi Coker, was named as the Porcupine Warriors new General Manager back in January following his sterling output at the club for the past years as the personal assistant to the Executive Board Chairman of the club, and Coker revealed that he would be willing to return to the Ghana Premier League heavyweights should the executive board deem it necessary as it is a great honour to serve the club.

“It wouldn’t be something I would say no to because it is always a great honour. To be seen to be serving the golden stool, it takes several forms to be able to do so, one has to be getting the opportunity to serve through Kumasi Asante Kotoko.”

Asante Kotoko Board Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei, dissolved the management of the club following the expiration of his initial three-year mandate, Dr Kyei thanked the team for their services and also wished them well in their future endeavours.
