Ashantigold player says playing for rivals Asante Kotoko would be a dream

Ashantigold S.C midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila, says playing his club’s rivals Asante Kotoko would be a dream come true.

Anabila revealed this in an interview with Kumasi-based Wontumi FM expressing his readiness to wear the red shirt if everything goes on very well and agreement is reached between the two clubs.

“Asante Kotoko is a dream club for every player in the country so will be very much excited to play for them. For now, I’m still under contract with Ashgold but if the two clubs comes into agreement for me to move to Asante Kotoko, I will be very happy.”

The diminutive playmaker has been sensational at the Len Clay Stadium since joining them before the start of the 2017/18 season.

He has also been an integral member of the home base national team, Black Stars B, in recent years featuring in the WAFU Championship which was staged in Senegal in November last year where they finished as the runners up after losing to the host nation in the final.
