Director of Communication for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has descended heavily on Nana Akufo-Addo government on the obscene level of state-sponsored tribal bigotry and divisiveness perpetrated under the watch of the first gentleman of the land.

Sammy Gyamfi said: “Never in the history of Ghana, have we seen this obscene level of state-sponsored tribal bigotry and divisiveness like we are witnessing under the watch of President Akufo Addo today, as captured in the attached videos”.

In a post on his Facebook page, sighted by talksafrica.com, he indicated that the government’s hatred for Voltarians and other non-Akans is shameful and must stop now.

He noted that we are all Ghanaians and nobody is more Ghanaian or less Ghanaian than the other adding that, the citizenship rights of all Ghanaians must be respected irrespective of their ethnicity or tribe.

“This is really sad and very depressing. How did we sink this low? Smh” He lamented.

He concluded with the hashtag, #RescueMission
