Executive Director of the Institute of Democratic Governance (IDG), Dr Emmanuel Akwetey has applauded the inaugural maiden speech of the running mate for John Mahama, Prof. Jane Naana Agyemang during her outdooring event held at the UPSA Accra.

Speaking on a panel discussion on Starrfm, he said “I would say the best speech probably a vice presidential candidate has delivered probably the best”

According to the Executive Director, he was particularly observant because most of these events go with party flags and He has been asking at what time do u go for the national flag and at what time do you go for party flag but he saw national flag so nation first.

“The way they positioned themselves and the message it was more like a national address.” He opined.
