Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency and former Minister of State under the erstwhile John Mahama administration, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa has compared the voter registration data of his constituency from 2016 to 2020 respectively.
The legislator took to his Facebook page to make this comparison of data, He said. “Interesting stats from our North Tongu voters registration: Registered voters for 2016 election – 54,338. Registered voters after 2019 limited registration – 59,572. Registered voters as at 6th August 2020 – 60,230.”
Ablakwa expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his beloved constituents for defying the odds, like many other Ghanaians, to get their names on the new register.
To him, hopefully, the unfounded fixation of having an ECOWAS Register shall now give way to the execution of bold transformative policies that will make Ghana the land of real opportunities and the indisputable reference point in ECOWAS, the AU and beyond.
