BERNARD ODURO COMMENDS EC OFFICIALS OF SUNYANI WEST

An Independent Parliamentary candidate of the Sunyani West Constituency Hon.Bernard Oduro Takyi has commended the electoral Commission of the Sunyani Municipal Assembly for an excellent voter registration exercise.

He said the Electoral officials of the district were up to the task as they conducted the exercise without chaos in the area.

In a release dated August 11,2020 he stated that, his team followed keenly with great vigilance,commitment and determination to encourage many voters to turn out to register.

He further noted that his team adopted a door to door approach,cell meetings,community engagements,information centers and radio just to engage the people of the district on the exercise.

He indicated that,their door to door exercise and the media interactions contributed to the upsurge in the total provisionally registered voters of over 2,131 as compared to the 2016 existing album

In his quest to be the next Member of Parliament for the constituency,He said close to ten percent of the citizens in the constituency do not want to vote when he engaged them.

He said,their decision not to vote in this year’s election is due to the abysmal performance of the incumbent Member of Parliament,Hon.Ignatius Baffour Awuah.

He went ahead to opine that,team B.O.T is bent on winning the 2020 parliamentary elections in the district.He sold a message of hope and endeared the residents to join the rescue mission team that is yet to happen.

Bernard Oduro Takyi eulogised the security personnel,political parties,Nananom,The Ghana Armed Forces,Sunyani West Electoral Commision, Sunyani West Electoral officials, media and the volunteer groups for team B.O.T for their immense support.

Ghana’s Presidential and Parliamentary election is just some months away.
