Young Apostle Football Club defender Natty Munez has urged the Ghana Football Association to capitalize on the break to re-strategise and work on improving football in the country.
According to the former Dawtex FC centre back, he believes the pandemic has had negative effect on the game but it is a good time football authorities take advantage of the period and take the country’s football back to its glory days.
He explained that, the negative aspect of the pandemic has taken a great toll on clubs but he is of the great conviction that the Ghana Football Association has been up and doing with respect to bringing on board good deals to aid the clubs.
He entreated them to do more in supporting local clubs.
“COVID-19 has affected our game negatively but on the positive side the impact of Covid-19 has aided the FA to get deals to restructure the game in the country which is a good step”He said.
On personal basis as a player on the effect of the disease, he said there will be a dip in his performance.
“Now I cannot play game in and game out,my performance will automatically drop since there are no active games”
The 2020/2021 Ghana football season is expected to kick-start in October,2020.
