Dr. Bawumia Commissions Parade of 150 Officer Cadets of Ghana Prisons Service (PHOTOS)

Dr. Bawumia has today August 28, commissioned parade of 150 officer cadet of the Ghana Prison Service.

In a Facebook post of Dr. Bawumia sighted by Talks Africa Media He said; “This morning in Accra, I represented President Akufo-Addo as the Guest of Honour at at the Cadet Course Intake 27 graduation and commissioning parade of one hundred and fifty (150) officer cadets of the Ghana Prisons Service.

According Dr. Bawumia, the ceremony was the climax of the last of four batches of One Thousand Five Hundred (1500) new entrants for the Service drawn from varied professional backgrounds ranging from Accounting, Agriculture, Education, Engineering, Medicine, and Social Sciences.

He reiterated that, the Nana Addo led government is committed to ensuring that, security services are adequately resourced.

Adding that, Cabinet has approved the placement of all the security agencies, (including Prisons) under a single pension scheme, CAP 30 as was the case with the army.
The Vice President Congratulated the graduates and charged them to carry forth the ideals of the Prisons Service which have been imparted to them in the course of their training.
