Okada rider blast NDC’s No1 Gentleman!

John Dramani Mahama former President since his promise of legalizing Okada, when voted into power come December, has been vehemently criticized by a section of the Okada riders.

In a Facebook post sighted by Talks Africa Media containing a conversation between a known Okada rider in Adeiso and NDC branch Chairman, the Okada rider said, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama means no good for them and that, He is only interested in their votes and nothing more.

According to the Okada rider, it is not as if they are happy doing the Okada business, questioning that can he do Okada for the rest of his life? To the Okada rider, if there is any other job opportunities right now, they will all stop and get themselves employed there.

He stressed that, no police arrest anyone for merely doing Okada business adding that, when the Okada business is legalized, it means all of them must get riding licenses whether they like it or not, adding that, โ€œThe police will check road worthy , insurance, lights, traffic indicators etc. Legalizing and regulating this means we can’t take 2 passengers at a time any more. Won’t these rather make our work difficult?โ€ The Okada rider further emphasized.

NDC man : John Mahama is promising to legalize and regulate your business when u vote for him as president again. Have u heard about that?

Okada Rider : Yes

NDC man : What do u make of this policy?

Okada Rider : My brother we can’t be deceived by John Mahama oooo, we are wide awake.

NDC man : Why do u say so? This is supposed to be a good news for u.

Okada Rider : This is bad news instead.

NDC man : Why? Can u explain?

Okada Rider : Look Bro, it is not as if we are happy doing this business ooo. Can I do Okada for the rest of my life? I tell you if there is any other job right now, we will all stop and get ourselves employed there.

NDC man : At Least for now, since there are no available jobs at the moment, legalizing it will help you especially from the harassment of the police.

Okada Rider : Correct! this is the main reason why we are saying Mahama is a bad man. See, at the moment, apart from the police taking 2 cedis from us at the barrier, we move about doing our work freely without any hindrance. As it stands now, No police arrest anyone for merely doing Okada business. Now when this business is legalized, it means all of us must get riding licenses whether we like it or not. The police will check road worthy , insurance, lights, traffic indicators etc. Legalizing and regulating this means we can’t take 2 passengers at a time any more. Won’t these rather make our work difficult? Just go round and ask my fellow riders. How many of us have riding license? I say Mahama means no good for us. He is only interested in our votes and nothing more.

NDC man : I will get back to you later.

Okada man : OK. Tell Mahama we are not kids. He should promise something else.

Me : Sense dey people head inside paa ooooo. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ Smart thinkers. Everyone is protecting his interest.
