Ghana Division One side Techiman City FC have is looking to serve the Ghana Football Association (GFA) with an injunction to stop Tuesday 1st September 2020 26th GFA Ordinary Congress.

According to reports bailiffs unsuccessfully attempted to serve the federation with the injunction today Friday 28th August 2020 after being told by the security officers at the gates of the GFA Secretariat that the General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo was in a meeting, leaving the bailiffs to wait for 2 hours.

Techiman City FC, which is owned by Charles ‘Micky Charles’ Kwadwo Ntim, are said to be upset at the GFA’s decision to not to accept a proposal to amend several portions of the GFA Statutes and have resorted to the law courts to force the federation to suspend the congress.

The club is said to be exploring the other options of going back to court to seek other means to carry out the injunction.
