Aduana Stars striker, Yahaya Mohammed has taken a swipe at his fellow player, Joseph Esso for leaving Accra Hearts of Oak to Dreams FC.
He indicated that, the player could have joined a team abroad or considered the plea of the Hearts of Oak supporters and management to stay with the club.
“For me, it’s a mistake for him. He should have considered the supporters who are begging. If there is a chance outside, tell them you have to take care of your family so they must let you leave. You make the team uncertain about you, its not good. The management should be careful about the boy. Even If they can’t then you should tell them that when you return to Ghana you will play for Hearts of Oak.”
The striker parted ways with Accra Hearts of Oak after both parties failed to agree on terms for a contract extension.
Joseph Esso has since signed a two year contract with Ghana Premier League aside Dreams FC.
The veteran striker also advised Essoh to apologize to Accra Hearts of Oak for turning down the call of President of the National House of Chiefs and club chairman, Togbe Afede XIV.
“My advice to him is that, I want him to apologize to the entire Hearts of OAK team for the turning the down Togbe Afede’s call to renew his contract. Apart from that many people including young and old are crying for your signature.”
