Chairman of the then Normalization Committee Dr. Kofi Amoah  has reacted to the Court of Arbitration for Sports ruling on the Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer and the Ghana Football Association case.

According to him,he has been vindicated after people tagged him as a failure and biased when he disqualified Wilfred Osei Kweku (Palmer) on the basis of integrity.

Responding to the ruling from CAS, Dr. Kofi Amoah stated that the Normalization Committee which he chaired did the right thing and have been vindicated by the ruling of CAS.

“We worked with integrity and we are pleased that our work has been vindicated to have been executed per the mandate and powers given to the Normalization Committee by FIFA. Good luck to the Ghana Football Association”, He said

He made this known when speaking to Sikka FM monitored by Talksafrica.com.

Background

The Tema Youth President Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer was disqualified from contesting the Ghana FA Presidential seat by the then Vetting Committee of the Normalization Committee but he subsequently took the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports

Osei Palmer was seeking for the annulment of the Ghana FA elections with the same candidates Contesting but CAS has dismissed the case, stating in a release that the Vetting Committee of the Normalization Committee did nothing wrong in disqualifying Osei Palmer.
