The Content Writer will write unique, informational, educational, and highly compelling articles, blog posts, and page content on the topic of addiction, mental illness, treatment, and other subtopics.
The Content Writer should be very skilled at writing very informative, yet persuasive copy, that includes strong calls to action.
The Editor & Content Writer does not have to personally have had a history of addiction or recovery or even know a friend or loved one who has struggled with these issues, but it can be extremely helpful. We are looking for sharp people who understand the disease of addiction and have compassion and empathy for those who struggle with it. This is an entry-level position.
Job Functions:
The Content Writer will receive and complete content assignments from the SEO team, based on topics of their choosing to increase organic traffic.
Content Writer will spend time daily researching and writing content based on outlines assigned by SEOs or team leads.
Coordinate and upload content to WordPress, and social media platforms.
Work in WordPress to make changes to content.
Report progress weekly to team lead.

A natural writer that can write at a quick pace.
Familiarity with topics relating to addiction, recovery, and mental health.
Ability to read through written information and weed out inaccurate or false information.
Exceptional communication skills, including oral and written.
Must be able to write at least 1500 words a day minimum with constant improvement in writing speed, while not compromising quality. .
Strong decision making and initiative skills.

Strong computer proficiency (Word and Excel).
Familiarity with all major social media platforms and posting.
