Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll hits 285 as cases rises

The Ghana Health Service have announced in their COVID-19 updates on Friday, September 11, 2020, that two more Ghanaians have died as a result of the disease taken Ghana’s total death toll to 285.

The Ghana Health Service further added that, 75 new cases have been recorded and this takes Ghana’s total cases to 45,388, with 44,267 being recovered and discharged.

Ghana’s active cases also dropped from 842 to 836.

Out of the number of active cases, four are in critical condition, two are on ventilators and 14 in severe condition.

Currently, four regions out of the 16 have no active cases of the virus.

North East, Savannah, Upper West and Upper East Regions are the regions not to have recorded any active cases of the COVID-19.
