President Akufo-Addo has indicated that,customers of the Diamond Microfinance Limited (DKM) will be paid in full by the end of September 2020.

He made this known when addressing a gathering in Wenchi which forms part of his tour to the Bono Region of Ghana.

President Akufo Addo revealed that any customer owed by the microfinance company will receive payment in full before the general elections in December.

“By the end of September, everyone who was owed by DKM will be given their money,” he said

He added that the payment was not going to be done in installments but all creditors will be paid in full.

“We are going to make sure that all balances are paid in full. We are not paying in percentages like Mahama’s government,” he assured.

In 2016,hundreds of clients of DKM Microfinance Company besieged payment centres to receive part or their full investments in the liquidated company.
