Co-founder of Microsoft, William Henry Gates has eulogized Ghana for showing exemplary leadership and making strides on several fronts.
The American business man commended Ghana for their effort in digitization and the fight against COVID-19.
Bill Gates made these assertions when Dr Mahamudu Bawumia held a meeting with him through virtual means to discuss some imperative issues affecting the country.
In a facebook post,Dr Bawumia said, “Earlier today, I held a zoom meeting with Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft to discuss three key issues:
Ghana’s progress on immunization against the new circulating vaccine-derived polio virus type 2 (cVDPV2),The lessons from Ghana’s policy response to COVID-19 and Ghana’s digitization strategy.
It was a good exchange of views and he congratulated Ghana for the strides we have made on several fronts. I also thanked him and the Gates foundation for their successful work in the fight against polio and other diseases.
I was joined in the meeting by Dr. Oko-Boye, Deputy Minister for Health”
