Former President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has indicated that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was loved by many and served as an inspiration to a lot of people across the world.

Mr Mahama said in a Facebook post that “He was an iconic figure in the independence struggle and the liberation of many African countries.

He said this on Monday  September 21,2020 a day that marks the birthday of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

“Ghana’s founder and first president Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah was an iconic figure in the independence struggle for his country and also the liberation of many African countries,”

Kwame Nkrumah was an influential advocate of pan-Africanism and a founding member of the Organization of African Unity
