A peace walk organised by the Assembly Member for Nkotompoh in the Sekondi Constituency of the Western Region of Ghana turned bloody.
Reports reaching Talksafrica.com indicate that, two residents believed to be members of the New Patriotic Party were stabbed in the walk.
Son of former minister Kwamena Bartels was stabbed in the process together with another member of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
The case has been reported to the police command in Sekondi as the assailants are seen moving around in the vicinity.
Investigations have begun into the unfortunate incident.
According to the police measures are in place to arrest these perpetrators.
