The ministry of Food and Agriculture in collaboration with Farmers in the cashew, Coco and other tree crop productions in Ghana met at Golden Bean Hotel in the Ashanti region on how to ameliorate quality of cashew processing to boost the economy of Ghana.

The main guest speaker of the program is His Excellency the president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Also in attendance were with the Ashanti regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, Minister of trade and industry Hon.Alan Kyeremanteng and Minister of food and Agriculture Hon.Owusu Afriya Akoto and other supportive dignitaries from the traditional council.

The Ashanti regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah said that the President Nana Addo has done well when it comes to developmental projects.

The minister of Food and Agriculture Hon.Owusu Afriya Akoto also accentuated on the benefits tress crops gives to this country by saying that Kumasi has played a major role in the development of Agriculture as well as most minerals resource production coming from the region.All these manifestation placed Ghana on top among the countries who produce tress crops in the world.

The president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,the main speaker of the occasion modulated much on the Act of parliament, Act 10,10 of 2020 which throw a spot light on the development to tree crop and the benefits on this country.
