Head of the Local Government Service (LGS), Dr Nana Ato Arthur is entreating public and civil servants to stop leaking official documents to politicians.

According to him the practice is illegal and unacceptable.

Dr Nana Ato Arthur threatened to deal drastically with any public or civil servant caught in the act.

He made these known when addressing the Local Government staff and heads of departments in the Bosomtwe District at Kuntunase in the Ashanti Region over the weekend.

The former member of parliament for the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem constituency said proper measures are being put in place to ensure that such leaked documents could easily be traced and the culprits duly sanctioned.

Dr Arthur commended the Bosomtwe District for the state of development in the area.
