Ghana senior national football team captain, Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan have arrived at Ghana’s camp in the Turkish city Antalya ahead of international friendlies against Mali and Qatar.
The two players arrived on Tuesday 6th October 2020 to join the rest of the team as they prepare towards their 2021 AFCON qualifier against Sudan in November.
Ghana top Group F with 6 points following victories against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe in November 2019.
The Ayew brothers add to the 10 players already at camp following the arrivals of Nicholas Opoku, Emmanuel Lomotey, Eugene Ansah, Benson Annang and Kamaldeen Sulemana on Monday 5th October 2020.
Ghana will hold its first training session at the Emir Sports complex in Antalya, Tuesday afternoon.
The Black Stars are set to take on Mali and Qatar in two separate friendly games in Antalya, Turkey.
The Black Stars will play Mali on Friday, 9th October 2020 before taking on Qatar on Monday, 12th October 2020. Both games will be played behind closed doors and under strict COVID-19 protocols.
The two friendlies will come in handy for C.K Akonnor who is yet to play his first game since he was appointed new Head Coach of the Black Stars in February this year.
