Kumasi Asante Kotoko have debunked claims of unfair treatment by some of its players.
This comes after the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana in a press release dated September 30,2020 stated that some players of the club had written to the association over claims of being excluded from the club’s activities ahead of the start of the new season despite having contract with them.
In a sharp contrast to the claims of PFAG, Kotoko indicated that they have not “registered WhatsApp group” and their channels of information to their players does not include conversations on the said group created by the players.
Also, the Kumasi-based club has not shared their pre-season plans to any institution and that includes the COVID-19 testing of the playing and technical body.
Finally, the Porcupine warriors expressed their discontent on the signatory of the PFAG’s letter who is a known Fifa Intermediary and is a representative of over 12 members of the team.
