Vice President of the Republic of Ghana has today October 24, unveiled Cocoa Management System for COCOBOD.
This according to Dr.Bawumia is a technological innovation by the Ghana COCOBOD which will build a digital database of all cocoa farmers and farms in the country, as well as digitally document all cocoa related programmes, activities and transactions across the cocoa value chain in real time
He explained that, It will also allow for the efficient implementation of the soon to be launched cocoa farmers pension scheme.
The Veep further stressed that the launch of the Cocoa Management System further demonstrates the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government’s commitment to digitize the operations of government agencies to bring about much-needed efficiency and ease to Ghanaians.
