The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will organize a workshop for Ghana Premier League (GPL) Club Media Officers (CMOs) and Venue Media Officers (VMOs) at the GFA conference room on Thursday 29th October 2020 at 10AM.

All 18 Ghana Premier League Club Media Officers are expected to attend the one-day workshop which is geared to give the CMOs and VMOs a better understanding of media operations before, during and after Premier League matches.

This will also help the Media Officers to understand the standards for media operations and new media opportunities in promoting their Clubs, Venues and Leagues.

The GFA Integrity Officer, Obed Tuffour, will also take the Media Officers through the association’s zero-tolerance policy on match manipulation, match-fixing and betting.

They will also be briefed on the official channels of reporting any form of match manipulation.

The upcoming 2020/2021 GPL season which is set to kick-off on 14th November 2020, and is expected to run through until the weekend of 16th – 18th July 2021.

Ashantigold SC, Asante Kotoko SC, Medeama SC will all begin the new season at home whereas Hearts of Oak, Karela FC and Dreams FC will be on the road on Matchday 1 of the season.

Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs FC will welcome neighbours Elmina Sharks with the game between Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak promising to be the “Match of the Week”.
