The commander in chief of the armed forces of federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has named major General Farouk Yahaya as the new Head of Armed force Staff.

General Yahaya replaces General Ibrahim Attahiru who kicked the bucket in a plane accident in Kaduna a week ago.

The Chief Armed force Advertising, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima spread the word about this in an assertion delivered on Thursday.

Before his arrangement, major General Yahaya was the Overall Official Instructing 1 Division of the Nigerian Armed force and the officeholder Theater Commandant of the Counter Psychological oppression Counter Revolt military outfit in the North East, code named Activity HADIN KAI.
