AK Songstress says media is being male bias on artists

Musical songstress, AK songstress has blast the media for being male bias on female artists.

According to songstress, she usually gets questions as to whether the music industry is being male dominated or affecting the females which is why she says from her observation much attention is given to male artists than female artists and she thinks it’s time the media stops being male bias on artists.

Speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz fm’s Showbiz review, AK songstress revealed that in the past, the music industry was male bias because they had few females in the industry for instance the likes of Mzbel and Abrewanana which is different now, because there are more female artists and believes it’s time the media starts giving female artists more attention.

Adding to this, the songstress explained that both female and male artists go through the same ways in promoting their music and shows but then one would get the see bloggers and DJ’s hyping and promoting that of the males more and sometimes some of these bloggers and DJ’s are not even recognized by the artist whose music they are promoting and explained that females are naturally warm and appreciative and would always retweet from anyone promoting them.

However, the songstress understands these bloggers are doing business but emphasized that for female artists to be noticed, they would have to show some parts of their bodies in other to gain more attention.

In conclusion, AK songstress disclosed that she would find a way to keep pushing her music as she is still learning how the industry actually works.
