Akuapem Poloo allegedly arrested by the CID

Actress and vixen, Akuapem Poloo has reportedly been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

This comes after the actress posted a picture of her semi-nude picture to celebrate her son’s 7th birthday on social media.

The actress deleted the image after she received so many backlashes from people on social media and other media houses and apologized for her ‘misconduct’.

Following a report on peace FM, the actress has been picked up by the operatives of the CID and sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit around the Ministries in Accra.

The Child Rights International petitioned the CID to act over the issue after she posted the picture which went viral.

According to Child Rights, Akuapem Poloo had violated some laws and breached some Child Acts.

It was after this, The Ministry for Gender and Social Protection issued a statement on the controversy and vowed to work with the appropriate authorities.
