It’s in Ghana’s interest to maintain Akufo-Addo – Kufuor

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has urged Ghanaians to maintain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo in power in the December 2020 election.

Speaking at the launch of the Party’s 2020 Manifesto, the former President said it is in the best interest of the citizens to keep the NPP in power to execute their plans and make the country a better place.

“We are launching this manifesto today to offer to Ghanaians that they should give or renew the authority of government to our government that has served so well over the past three years.”He said

He lauded the performance of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia led government in the three and half years they’ve been in office for their remarkable performance.

“The government of NPP over the past three and a half years they’ve done wonders. See how government is managing the Covid-19 challenge, it’s become world acclaim.

Former President Kufuor finally said , the content of the manifesto is enough evidence that within such difficult times for the world, the NPP government has delivered and proved beyond doubt that they are capable of managing the affairs of the country.

“Once we remember this, I believe we can follow through with what we put in the manifesto to let Ghanaians across the board appreciate that within these times, there’s hardly an alternative, there’s no alternative to the NPP government that has discharged its work so well across the entire nation inclusively for all Ghanaians,” he stated
