Are we NOT part of Ghana? – Nsuoano residents quizzes

Nsuoano electoral area residents have expressed great concern over the collapsed bridge which serves about three communities in the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly of Ashanti region.

Speaking to the assemblyman of the electoral area Hon. Derrick Adu, he confirmed that the broken bridge has increasingly caused more harm to the communities.

“I personally have written reports about the bridge to the Municipal Chief Executive Officer hon. Nana Osei Assibey Bonus for an immediate solution but proved futile. He   came to tour the whole place and took a series of pictures assured us  do something about it and yet till now the situation remains unchanged” he added

Some citizens also narrated sorrowfully to Radio Univers reporter Kwabena Mensah Abrompah that the nature of the bridge has become a huge death trap in the community putting lives under pressure, and even if the government had not closed down schools, children might have found it very difficult to cross the bridge to go to school.

He, therefore, called on authorities to as as matter of urgency, construct the bridge to make it easy for children and the aged to cross.

“we are pleading that the authorities should treat our matter as an emergency and construct the bridge for us because every day, children cross it before they can get to school, and not long ago an old man nearly fell in the bridge because the all supportive materials which help us cross it have been corroded” he said.
