Ashanti Gold CEO says he needs the club’s supporters to move the Miners to the next level

Ashanti Gold SC Chief Executive Officier (CEO), Emmanuel Frimpong, has revealed in an exclusive interview on ‘Beyond the Pitch’ showing every Wednesday on GTV Sports+ that he needs the club’s supporters if he is to take the team to the next level.

The 27-year-old, however, spoke confidently about his relationship with the club’s fans saying “I’ve always had like a good vibe with the supporters and as I was saying earlier on, before my appointment they always used to call me the future CEO and right now I am the CEO, so what they said has come to past.”

They can call me and talk to me about other things aside football, and I like to share ideas cause I believe in working as a team, cause you can’t build a team without supporters and I need them cause without their support I can’t get Ashanti Gold to the level that I want it to be”

Emmanuel Frimpong who became the country’s youngest football administrator after taking over as CEO of the Miners back May 2020 has big ambitions revealing that he will be working with the club’s management team to make the Miners one of the biggest clubs on the continent.

So I’m gonna be sharing ideas with the management team, my Sporting Director, the supporters to make Ashanti Gold one of the biggest clubs in Africa.”
