BET2020: Burna boy wins best International Act award

Damini Ogulu, Nigerian afro-fusion artiste popularly known as Burna Boy, has won the 2020 BET Award for Best International Act.

The program was hosted by comedian Amanda Seales in a virtual form due to the COVID-19 measures.

However, this has been his second laurel from the same category since his debut at the award ceremony in 2019, the “African Giant” album crooner beat off competition from Innoss’B (DRCt), Sho Madjozi (South Africa), Dave (U.K.), Stormzy (U.K.), Ninho (France), S.Pri Noir (France) to win the coveted category at the award ceremony.

Burna Boy’s award at the 2020 BET awards was an award given to honor his outstanding achievements of international activities around the world with other artists every year.
