Bishop Agyin Asare reacts to claims of securing loans from Defunct Banks

Perez Chapel international, has cautioned the general public to disregard publications and allegations levelled against the Bishop, Charles Agyin Asare for securing loans from the defunct FirstTrust Savings and Loans Bank.

The Church said the allegations levelled against the Bishop is a complete fabrication of lies.

“I am to state on authority that Bishop Charles Agyin Asare has never applied for or secured any loan from the collapsed First Trust Savings and Loans company and the GN Bank.

“The allegations is a complete fabrication and complete false”.

These were contained in a statement signed by Administrative Bishop of the Perez Chapel International, Apostle Raymond Acquah.

The statement noted that Bishop Charles Agyin Asare was a one time Board Chairman of the said bank, and “has never applied for nor received a loan either before or during and after his Chairmanship of the Board of FirstTrust Savings and Loan”.

The statement further said that such information peddling on news portals and circulating on social media was ridiculous and mischievous, as that was an attempt to malign Bishop Agyin Asare.

It reiterated that the church, Perez Chapel which the Bishop presides over, has also never applied for nor received a loan from both banks.

The statement thus called on the general public and the media to disregrad the lies and falsehood, urging persons behind them to end it.

It said “We urge the general public to disregard this failed attempt to malign Bishop Charles Agyin Asare”.
