Black Stars dip in latest FIFA rankings for the Month of October

The Black Stars of Ghana have sunk in the latest FIFA rankings for the month of October,2020

The four times African Champions dropped two positions from the 46th position to the 48th position at the world front in the latest rankings.

The Black Stars accrued 1439 points in the latest ranking released by the world football governing body.

The Stars played two friendly games, losing 3:0 to Mali and winning by 5 goals to 1 against Qatar in Antalya, Turkey this month as part of their preparations for the 2021 Africa cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan in November.

Ghana placed sixth behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Nigeria and Morocco on the Continent Check.

Here are the CAF top 10 African teams according to the latest FIFA rankings:










Burkina Faso

Ghana’s Senior female national team, Black Queens, placed 60th on the World stage and 4th in Africa, while the Black Stars placed 46th on the World front with 1439 points and 6th on the African continent in the latest FIFA Coca Cola ranking for the month of September.

Belgium remain top of the FIFA World Rankings despite losing to England in the last international window. The Three Lions remain 4th behind France and Brazil.

Spain have moved up to 6th, with Portugal in 5th. Uruguay, Argentina, Croatia and Colombia complete the top 10.
