Cape Coast North MP Completes Market Shed At Abura Market.

Dr Kwamena Minta Nyarku has constructed a market shed for the women at Abura Market.

Some market women within the market did not have a shed to sell under and anytime it rained, they had packed their wares.

This situation has inconvenienced the women within the Abura Market in Cape Coast for far too long.

During his initial thank you tour in February 2021, the Member of Parliament visited the market to thank the women for voting for him to represent them in the Parliament House.

He also took the opportunity to apprise himself of some of the needs of the market women.

It is during such interactions that the market women appealed to the MP to come and assist them with the construction of the market shed.

Two months down the line, the beautiful market shed had been fully completed and the market women are ecstatic and have shown their appreciation to the MP.

Ragga as he is affectionately called, upon inspecting the completed shed, narrated to the media that, he was touched by the plight of the women when he first visited them.

“MPs are development agents but the little things I can do to support our constituents, I shall do. I’m also very elated that, the women are appreciative of my efforts and I pray for a better working relationship with them and hope to serve them better”.

“I cannot do everything for my constituents but, the little I can do to help alleviate their suffering, I shall try and do my best for them”.
Some market women who hitherto had to pack their wares because of the rains showed their appreciation by thanking their MP for a job well done. Again, the Abura market executives wished the MP, God’s guidance and blessings.
