2019 SWAG Female Table Tennis Player of the Year Celia Baah-Danso honoured


The organisers of the GH Innovations Awards have honoured Ghanaian tennis star Celia Baah-Danso for her “many years of distinguished service as a sports personality.”

The 25-year-old has been impressive over the years for Ghana, representing the country at the African Commonwealth and World stages. She also shined in 2019 being ranked in the May edition of the International Table Tennis rankings and claimed victory at the 2020 Chairman’s Cup held back in February 2020, and the GH Innovations Awards deemed it fitting to honour her “dedication, enthusiasm and optimism to work.”


Celia thanks the organisers of the ceremony on Facebook saying “It feels exciting when honoured whiles alive and as the day breaks will thank my Creator for the gift of life, thank Organizers of GH Innovation Awards for recognizing my efforts in my Sports Career as a Table Tennis player representing Central Region and Ghana both Locally & International, thanks to my Coach, family & friends, fans and lovers of Table Tennis for being supportive. Thank U n God bless u all”
