LGBTQ+ChiBoy Ratti is an upcoming Ghanaian actor and writer. He has finally shared his view on LGBTQ+.
Issues on LGBTQ+ have been the topic of discussion on many TV and Online shows. In Ghana, many personalities have expressed their feelings about the introduction of LGBTQ+ officially. Many have spoken against it but others have spoken to favour the act. The fact on the ground is that this act is nothing new in Ghana. Some advocates of LGBTQ+ wanted the population to generally accept the act as a new normal.
The masses have shared their views on that. Recent Polls confirms that the majority of the people in Ghana frowns upon the act. Religious organisations and spiritual groups have also talked about it. Almost all the dominant religions have talked ill about the act. Even with that, some people still stand by the motion that accepting it is giving people the freedom of choice.
Dembe Publications also made it a point to interview some upcoming entertainers. This is to enable them to share their views on issues arising. During a scout, we came across Albert O. Adormson who is popularly known as ChiBoy Ratti in the entertainment industry. We spoke to him about the LGBTQ+ issues rising in the country.
This is what he said: ‘I am not surprised about what is happening because many people expected this. I do not have much to say on this great topic. I will treat it as a conspiracy theory and move on with my life. If I talk against it, they will go hard on me and vice versa. I prefer to be mute and it doesn’t make me a coward. Whatever I think about it is deep within my heart. Thanks!’
He was brief in his answer. Many think he harbours some kind of fear in him but after the interview, we realized he is wearing a metal helmet to prevent any heavy metal on his head.
