Coach Slavisa Bozicic extends contract with King Faisal


Head coach of King Faisal Football club, Slavisa Bozicic has agreed a new deal with the Ghana Premier League side according to Kumasi-based Otec FM.

The 54 year old Serbian gaffer extended his contract for three-years with King Faisal ahead of the new league season. Per the report, Slavisa Bozicic agreed a contract extension after he met with the management of King Faisal headed by their new Chief Executive Officer Mr. George Amoako at the club’s secretariat
The former Red Star Belgrade U19 trainer joined King Faisal at the beginning of the 2019/2020 league season to succeed Anthony Commey who was asked to step aside by the management of the club after subsequently losing three matches in the Ghana Premier League.
King Faisal were languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table despite their appreciable scoring rate before the 2019/2020 league season was truncated.
Though King Faisal struggled in the just cancelled season under Slavisa Bozicic, management of the club have decided to extend his stay at the club by offering him a three-year contract extension.
The Serbian is expected to be transform the Kumasi based club with his experiences over the years in coaching.
