Maverick football administrator Takyi Arhin has thrown shade at his colleague Abdul Salam Yakubu over his comment on the disbursement of the covid-19 relief fund.
This comes in response to the comments made by the bankroller and President of New Edubiase football club Abdul Salam Yakubu.
Salam Yakubu stated caterogically that he is not accepting the amount the Ghana Football Association intends to give to the second tier clubs.
He is of the view that Umbrella body is no respecter of the division one clubs and that must be forestalled.
According to Takyi Arhin his colleague should have engaged key stakeholders in the game but not run to the media for his grievances to be addressed.
He further added that,it’s impossible to disburse similar amount to both the second tier clubs and the premier league clubs.
“Maybe he needs further information,he should not conclude by saying he is not accepting that amount.there is no way division one clubs and the premier league clubs will receive similar amount”
Takyi Arhin described his colleague as hypocrite stressing on the fact that he was content with some monies disbursed to them when he was in the premier league but now speaking against similar processes.
“He is played the premier league and he knows what it entails,he never complained of the disbursement process during his time in the league but now complaining about it.why? He asked.
The Ghana Football Association will disburse some amount received from CAF and FIFA as relief funds to all stakeholders involved in the game of football.
The disbursement process has been marred with controversies.
