Ghanaian artiste, Nii Funny who is known for his “Broken Heart” song in his recent post on Facebook said Tinny had tested positive for the coronavirus as he called on Ghanaians to pray for Tinny.
“COVID 19 Is Real Ghanaians Should Pray for Tinny He Has Tested Positive”, he said.
Tinny’s management, however, has denied the statement and made a statement to graphic showbiz urging bloggers to avoid spreading the false statement as Nii Funny only posted that after a funny conversation with Tinny.
Below is the statement from Tinny’s management.
“Our attention has been drawn to few social media comments and blog posts stating categorically that Nii Addo Quaynor popular know as Tinny ‘Aletse’ has been diagnosed with Corona Virus”.
“As the management of Tinny, we debunk all rumors surrounding him and assure fans, close relations, and the general public that Tinny is healthy and has not in any way tested positive for the Corona Virus”, the statement added.
It further said, the news may have been spread to the public after a jest conversation between Tinny and one of his industry friends Nii Funny, and urged fans of the artist to remain calm, and observe all the measures instituted in place to combat this pandemic.
Management of Tinny, however, has cautioned bloggers and social media influencers to desist from spreading false information.
