Dogboe knocks out Avalos in comeback fight

0

Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe has made a successful return to the ring defeating American featherweight Chris Avalos early this morning at 1 AM GMT at the MGM Grand, Las Vagas.

This is the former WBO Super Bantamweight champion’s first fight after losing his title and rematch to Emmanuel Navarrete back in 2019 and Dogboe dominated Avalos in every round before referee Russell Mora stopped their scheduled eight-rounder at 2:25 of the eighth because he felt Avalos was taking too much punishment.

This sees Dogboe improved to 21-2, recording his 15th knockout and ending his two-bout losing streak in his first fight in 14 months.
