Empem Dacosta to leave Kotoko on a free

According to reports Asante Kotoko centre-back Empem Dacosta is set to leave the Porcupine Warriors by mutual consent.

This was revealed by the player’s representative Blessing Kwaku who revealed in an interview with Wontumi FM that Kotoko have told his 23-year-old client to look elsewhere and have cut ties with the player “The coach has disclosed to us that he doesn’t need Empem Dacosta at Kotoko. We have accepted his decision,”

“We are only waiting for the club to pay us and terminate contract officially. We are asking for all entitlements to paid to us” He further stated

The former Karela United centre-back has failed to secure a regular spot in the first team since joining the Ghana Premier League giants from the Crossby Awuah Memorial Park back in July 2019 making only 10 appearances for the Porcupine Warriors.
