Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham has travelled to Dortmund for a medical ahead of his proposed transfer to the BVB for a reported transfer fee of £26 million.
The Bundesliga club faced stiff competition to sign the player who turned 17 in June beating Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and most notably Manchester United to sign U17 England captain who is reported to have chosen BVB due to their reputation of developing talent.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be disappointed to have missed out on the highly talented box-to-box midfielder, as the Red Devils pulled out all the stops, even offering him a tour of their training ground with Sir Alex Ferguson.
Bellingham has made 41 appearances for the Championship side this season scoring 4 and laying off 3 assists. He will see out the remainder of the season at the Midlands club and is in the matchday squad for Saturday’s Championship clash at Fulham.
