The Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) met with all fitness athletes (Bodybuilders, Men’s Physique, Female Bikini & Female Figure) at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday 19th September 2020.
The meeting discussed a lot of issues key among them being the upcoming Man Ghana 2020 Bodybuilding Championship which is set to take place later on this year with the theme ‘violence-free elections’.
Also on the agenda was the selection to the national bodybuilding team, the Black Muscles, welfare of athletes, participating in international championships in 2021 among other related topics.
President of the GBFA, Hay Yartey, together with other Executives took turns to explain, advice, inform as well as encourage the athletes and charged them to concentrate on their preparations towards Man Ghana 2020.
“It was more of a dialogue than a meeting because both parties came out with concerns towards the sport in general as well as the upcoming 2020 Man Ghana Competition,” Yartey mentioned.
On Tuesday, 22nd September 2020, both the Executives of the GBFA as well as the athletes will meet the press to throw more light on the theme for this year’s Man Ghana Championships among other matters.
