The 26-year-old who has signed a 3-year deal with Die Roten said in an interview with the club’s official website that it is a dream to play in Germany “I’m really happy to be here. I have always dreamed of playing in Germany and am happy to be a part of Hannover 96 now.”

Hannover 96 Sports Director, Gerhard Zuber has praised the Ghanaian and believes he will make an impact at the club “With Patrick Twumasi we get a very variable offensive player. He can play on both wing positions, but also as a central striker. Patrick is fast, tech-savvy and has always had excellent scorer ratings on his previous stations.”

Twumasi was on-loan at Süper Lig side Gaziantep FK during the 2019/2020 season scoring 6 and laying off 5 assists in 27 appearances for the Turkish side. He is also a full Ghanaian international appearing 3 times for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
