The Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta has noted that the New Patriotic Party took over power at the dying peak of the country for the National Democratic Congress.
Speaking at the Mid-year budget review in parliament, the Finance minister noted that, the country was in serious debt before the NPP took but have been able to clear all debts.
“we took over power at a very dying peak, but we have been able to restore hope by paying off all debt left behind by the previous government,” he said.
He also noted that the NPP government after taking over the mantle of power has brought dignity to the lives of Ghanaians through its social policies they implemented in just three years of assuming office.
